False Alarm

It seems I do not have anything to worry about...for now (besides high blood pressure). But the health scare I just experienced has made me acutely aware of the possibility of losing everyone and everything I hold dear. And so, that much more appreciative of everything I do have. I am so blessed.
I want to thank all of you who helped me get through the last week. Thanks for checking on me, for trying to make me laugh and for keeping me from going crazy. I am so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends. In case I haven't told you lately- I love you!

I love you Chris, Koen and Morgan.

My heart goes out to those who have dealt with and are currently dealing with cancer. I can't even imagine how one would get through that and have the strength to fight.

Hey Melanie, Chris gave me the link to your blog. I'm glad to see you guys doing well! I am floored by how big your kids are getting!... I guess it makes sense... It's been a while :) Sounds like you had quite a scare, I am really glad everything is ok! Your family is so cute! Russ thinks your kids look like Chris, but I can definitely see you. They are so cute!

Glad you are ok. I relate to feeling like you can lose everything in the blink of an eye. Glad it's not anything bad.
