While Chris and I were on a date a while ago, our friends were watching the kids. Koen loves playing with their girls and Morgan is even okay there most of the time. But this time was special...
Apparently Koen and Kelsee got married. We were sad we couldn't be there, but at least they took a picture for us.
I really need to find him some boys to play with. :)
Morgan has decided that dancing simply involves shrugging her shoulders. I'm not sure where she got it from, but it wasn't me! (she dances much better than I do) Go Wiggles!
It seems I do not have anything to worry about...for now (besides high blood pressure). But the health scare I just experienced has made me acutely aware of the possibility of losing everyone and everything I hold dear. And so, that much more appreciative of everything I do have. I am so blessed. I want to thank all of you who helped me get through the last week. Thanks for checking on me, for trying to make me laugh and for keeping me from going crazy. I am so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends. In case I haven't told you lately- I love you!
I love you Chris, Koen and Morgan.
My heart goes out to those who have dealt with and are currently dealing with cancer. I can't even imagine how one would get through that and have the strength to fight.
The kids found a little ATV at Costco the other day that was "just like Opa's". Koen reluctantly let Morgan sit on it with him, but he was pretty disappointed that he couldn't drive it around the store.
Morgan is having fun! (Koen is looking for the eject button)
Every time Koen finds something he wants at a store that I won't buy him, he informs me that "Santa will bring it for Christmas". I sure hope this year gets a lot better by December! I guess it's our own fault for getting him everything he wanted for Christmas last year. (his wish list is a lot pricier now)
for my lack of posting recently. Chris got me 3 of the Twilight series books for Christmas so I decided to re-read them. I didn't know I wouldn't be able to get anything done AGAIN until I was finished. Sorry everyone. Well, I'm not sorry, I love those books! And if you don't know what I'm talking about then you have not read them! (or you're not a girl- I'm not sure they would have the same hold on a guy) I think I will lock them in the attic for a while so I can get something done like clean the house or make dinner.
Morgan has changed so much! Here's a little video of what she's learned.
She is still terrified of everyone but Chris and I. She says a few words (papa, mama, ball, poo, baiper). She squeals and laughs a lot. Sometimes she thinks Koen is pretty funny, but mostly he just beats her up (I guess that hasn't changed). She loves shoes, Care Bears and playing peek-a-boo.
She recently learned how to walk, so I bought her a couple pair of shoes. She loves to wear them and also carries them around all day.
